Peter interviewed me for the Graphic Design and Illustration HND at LCA in 1980. I'd not done a single art qualification. He was such an likeable, warm and forward thinking man. He took a chance. I got in. Forty Four years later I'm still designing, illustrating and writing and my next graphic novel will be out with Hodder in a few months, it seemed apt to dedicate it to Pete, someone who took chances. People like him are rare, rarer still these days. He will be missed which is a testament to the presence he had.

A truly inspirational character, with a wonderful, cheeky sense of humour. He will always be fondly remembered. Love and best wishes to Jan and the family
